Vikings Parting Ways With RB Dalvin Cook

According to Tom Pelissero, the Minnesota Vikings are expected to part ways with four-time Pro Bowler Dalvin Cook. Cook spent six seasons in Minnesota and had four seasons of 1,000+ rushing yards.
24-year-old Alexander Mattison is expected to become the starting running back. Mattison is entering his fourth season in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings. Mattison has been one of the top backup running backs in the NFL, behind Dalvin Cook.
It is yet to be seen where Dalvin Cook will land, but the Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos have shown early interest in Cook (per Adam Schefter). I have moved Cook down to 21 in my running back rankings and have moved Alexander Mattison up to 12. I expect a RB1 season from Mattison. Cook's ranking will depend on where he lands, but for now, I see mid- to low-RB2 as the best ranking.
